Kazakhstan: Key Expert 4: Expert in Independence of Judges

Location: Kazakhstan

Intended starting date: May 2018

Duration of assignment: 8 months from the starting date

The Bureau for Institutional Reform and Democracy – BiRD, is currently accepting applications for a Key Expert 4:Expert in Independence of Judges as part of a World Bank funded project in Kazakhstan entitled: Evaluation of Professional Activities of the Judiciary.

Key Expert 4:Expert in Independence of Judges (57 working days)

Qualifications and Experience:

• Law degree, academic degree;
• Minimum 5 years of professional work experience in the judicial system and conducting of academic research in the area of independence of judges;
• Knowledge of Russian is mandatory;
• Knowledge of English is preferable.
